The rest of the walls for the upper pond are now in place and the foaming of the liner to the waterfall rocks is now complete. There is no way to test anything until the lower pond can be filled. As the project engineer, I assure everybody that everything looks right, but I am doubting myself! Sleepless night... |

Here you can see the final waterfall rocks in place. The water level will be at the bottom edge of the lowest rock. Cool. Neat. Exciting! |

Another view of things. Note the sump pump in place to allow us to wash the rocks as we go. This worked rather well. We just hosed the rocks off and removed the water with the pump. |

From this angle, you can see the foamed edges are also covered with river rocks. More "wows". |

The upper pond is just setting, waiting to go over the falls! This picture was just after the "foaming". Note the box of latex gloves in the center of the picture. And a Japanese Maple has been planted on the right side of the upper pond.... |

After the waterfall is in place, we begin building the pond - about four feet at a time. This was to allow the use of the loader to deliver boulders and river rock and saving our backs for the final placement. |
